One of my most treasured keepsake is this antique typewriter that i inherited from my maternal grandfather. I remember him typing away by this bedside while my cousins and I play -run in and out of his room. For the longest time since he passed away ( 98 years old)... it just sat in our den as decoration/ book ends.

Then one fine day I had it cleaned !!!
My kids were in such awe! "IT SPANKS MOM! -its like a stamp!"
My daughter writes her BFF a letter =) ("its sooo fun exept it has no delete button..") Then she asks.. "mom what if i need more copies, how do i print?" Now that's another story haha! HAPPY MONDAY!

a classic momento... loving the typewriter shot ;)

ReplyDeleteThis was so funny, M! You should have that letter framed.
ReplyDeleteI love how she asked, "How do I print?"
It's a beautiful typewriter though. Way older than the ones we learned to type on, no?
